Château de Pierreclos

The castle is located in the center of the vineyard, on a rocky spur

The Château de Pierreclos is a private historic monument located between the Abbey of Cluny and the emblematic national site at Solutré. Set among the vineyards on a rocky spur, a chapel was first built there that became a parish church in 996. The château appears in texts from 1282 when the lord promised his château to the Duke of Burgundy. It is a strong-hold that has gone through wars, the French revolution and was transformed over time into an ornamental château. Tastefully renovated to receive guests, its owners will be proud to have you taste their wines and many culinary delights from the region.
