In the Loire Valley, an enchanted interlude in this delicious 18th century family castle where Elie and Anne Crouan welcome you as friends. The castle is set in a setting of delightful, perfectly designed gardens. The immense park with shaded bridle paths, on the edge of the forest, encourages strolling.

Chambiers Castle is an ideal starting point for discovering Anjou, the grandiose Loire Valley and the intimate Loir Valley, rich in historical, architectural, cultural, natural and gustatory heritage.

Our vast reception room under its historic framework, our ideal accommodation for a honeymoon as well as to accommodate your family and your many friends also give Chambiers a strong vocation to host your events.

  • La Maison du Jardinier: 115 m² with a living room and a fireplace, an open-plan kitchen, a dining room, 3 bedrooms, 9 beds, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets (1 bedroom on one level)

You benefit from a total of 57 beds distributed in the Château, the gîtes and the French Pavilion, which you have the possibility of privatizing for a memorable weekend.

• Slow Food followers, we cook organic vegetables from our vegetable garden and carefully selected local products, accompanied by Loire wines typical of our region. A vegetarian menu can also be prepared upon request.
  
• All dinners are served by candlelight, in the dining room or in the gardens, as soon as the fine weather arrives.

  • The Artists' Workshop, a half-timbered building in the interior courtyard of the cottages, can accommodate up to 30 people.
  • 3 lounges in the castle for up to 15 people in each lounge.

Location

• From Paris: take the A11 motorway, and leave at the Durtal exit. Drive through the village towards Angers, cross the bridge over the river Loir and, 200 metres after the bridge, turn left towards Baugé. Continue for another 300 metres and then turn right towards Jarzé. Drive another 3 kilomètres (2 miles) and you will come to Château de Chambiers on the left.
