15th and 18th century manor house, on the banks of the Cher, in the heart of the Loire Valley, in a 2 hectare park

Near Chenonceau, Amboise and the Beauval Zoo, in the heart of the AOC Touraine-chenonceaux vineyard, on the hillside facing the Cher, stands the Salle du Roc manor.

Built in the 15th century, it was completed in the 18th century by a Directoire style construction.

The estate includes a monumental winery, troglodyte cellars, an old silkworm farm (breeding of silkworms) as well as a park and a forest with many species that can be explored along recently updated paths.

Several intimate spaces have been created on the estate for total disconnection. An island on the Cher allows an unexpected excursion for the most adventurous. It is also possible to picnic at the top of the hill, at the foot of the 500-year-old cedars.

You will appreciate the romanticism of the two guest room suites with modern bathrooms, or the tranquility of an extended stay in the old manor, for a return to the Middle Ages with all modern comfort.

• Two independent suites in the mansion, 18 th century style, 33 m2 (king bed size) and the second, 30 m2 (queen size bed) including a bedroom and an independent sitting room, private bathroom and toilet. Wi-Fi access, free parking.

• The 15th century Manor: furnished tourist gite with capacity for 7 people (3 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom) of 180 m² with stylish furniture, 2 Chesterfield sofas and 2 large freestone fireplaces.
