Château de Villedubois
A family castel with an authentic and confortable soul
The Château de Villedubois is a listed historic monument. Since its acquisition by Jacques Hannibal de Farcy in 1647, it kept all the history of the family which still occupies it. Surrounded by a 17-hectare-park, composed of ponds and bicentenary trees, it welcomes its guests in its beautiful lounges and its five fully renovated bedrooms, while preserving a family atmosphere true to its history. You can also admire a chapel from the 17th and 18th centuries. In the middle of Brittany, 1 hour from Saint-Malo and Vannes, near the legendary Brocéliande forest, the château is perfectly located to visit the region.

Expériences à vivre au château
Since 1647 ...
History and heritage lovers, come and enjoy a stay rich in anecdotes and historical facts at La Villedubois. A family property since 1647, we are happy to share the history of the château, its architecture and our family, whose portraits adorn the walls of our house. For the more curious, we will open the doors of the library, the last construction of the house in 1904, which houses all the archives, property deeds and titles of nobility, since the 16th century.
Delighting your taste buds
Do you enjoy a good wine, especially with a good cheese? Well, we do too! From a Burgundy to a Bordeaux, via a Loire Valley or even a Brunello, select your own wine directly in our cellar: you will find a wide choice to satisfy your sweet tooth! (Prices to be discovered on site)
Feel like playing golf ?
You are spoilt for choice! There are 3 magnificent 18-hole golf courses within 15 km of the castle. Don't have your clubs? No problem, we will gladly lend you ours!
Desire for wide open spaces and calm
Relax in the heart of our 17-hectare park, on an old stone bench shaded by the pond or on a deckchair under a two-hundred-year-old oak tree. Birdsong and a refreshing drink on a beautiful summer afternoon are the only two ingredients you need to recharge your batteries in our green setting.
To the happiness of families !
Meet Theodore and Victoria, our two cherubs. We know what it's like to travel with young children, to organise outings, find restaurants, take sightseeing breaks... So don't worry about anything at home! The house is big enough for everyone to be happy, and we have all the necessary arrangements to make your little ones feel at home (playground, indoor games and all the baby / child equipment). Maybe they can even take the John Deere tractor out for a spin !
