Last vestiges of the Château de Chavigny, built in 1635 by the King’s architect, Pierre le Mute, on behalf of the superintendent of finances of Cardinal Richelieu, Clos Chavigny is listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments.

The architecture of its time, both inside and out, has been preserved over the centuries; period furniture and works of art are its worthy adornments.

A10 motorway, take the Ste Maure-de-Touraine exit and follow the D760 towards Chinon. At Chinon take the D759 towards Loudun. At Roche Clermault follow signs for Seuilly-Lerné
